In medical device manufacturing, Kaizen event resulted to reduction of expensive biochemical loss by 74%. This chemical was the key ingredient of the product. Keys for the success were using TPI and PS tools and good preparation as well as great teamwork during the event - analyzing in structured manner all main wastes in material usage and devising means to counter them.
